To request an item that is currently checked out, follow the same steps as you would to request an item through Muss-To-Go.  When the item is returned, the request will pop up, and the person working at the Checkout Desk will check the book out to you and put it on Muss-To-Go instead of returning it to the book collection.

If a book is very popular, there may be other hold requests ahead of yours.  You will be contacted once the holds placed before you have been filled.

NOTE:  Only use "get library copy" for a checked-out item if you're not in a hurry.  If you need it soon, you should place an interlibrary loan request.
